Our friends and a wonderful family, the Pisanos, have been unfortunately touched by a terrible disease. ALS, also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, is a neurological condition that affects the entire body, and unfortunately has no cure. Jill was unfortunately diagnosed earlier this year with ALS and it has taken a toll on their family. Many people know and love Jill as she welcomes everyone with smiles, hugs, and laughter. She is a kind, sweet, person who is a loving mother, wife and whom we are lucky enough to call a friend. Rob and Jill and their two wonderful children are always ready to help anyone and everyone, and now it’s our turn to help them. Treatment for ALS if often not covered by traditional insurance and costs add up quickly. We, as friends, want to lessen the financial burden this terrible disease leaves behind, and any bit can help.
