Dad in coma & mom injured-Need Help

I am Uma.I am from cary,NC.I am raising this funds for my friend Nitya.Nitya& Ravi(nitya's husband) are the happy & kind-hearted couple we know of were riding back home and their 2 lovely kids (8 years old daughter & 5 years old son) were waiting for their Dad & Mom to hug & kiss with all the love & affection they get.
Unfortunate was the day of 18th August for them that they met with a disastrous car accident. While they survived, the accident did lead to serious injuries needing both Ravi & Nitya to be hospitalized and specialist doctors attending to them relentlessly in Intensive Care Unit for over a week.
With Ravi still in coma, doctors are unsure of when he would be out of coma. Nitya underwent multiple surgeries and doctors had to amputate both her legs one above knee & one mid-thigh onwWhile Nitya is coping with the plight & distress of having lost her legs, she is under tremendous emotional & mental stress knowing her husband Ravi’s injuries and uncertainty of when Ravi is going to be out of coma. Nitya is in need of prosthetics care to be able to walk and stand on her own.
Nitya is gathering all the courage she can for her & Ravi to recover from the injuries, but having spoken to her, Nitya is also under tremendous financial stress due to this unexpected situation she & her family are in.
With insufficient financial support & limited income, Nitya is currently not in a position to financially take care of her & Ravi’s medical expenses and is also uncertain of how to cope with the financial support needed for taking care of her kids.
Your financial contributions/donations to whatever extent you can will help this family to cope with the medical expenses and revive their lives back to normal as much they can. As we all can relate what this stress could mean if this situation occurs in our families, we request you to generously contribute/donate to help Ravi & Nitya with their medical & childcare expenses and handle these hard times to come back to normal & carry on with their lives.I am responble for withdrawing the funds from the campign and will make sure it reaches the respective parties account via online banking to India.
