Nissi's Memorial Fund

Nissi was a very loving and caring woman, wife, sister, daughter, friend and mother. She was always there for anyone who needed help.  She worked at Goodwill as a Career Navigator helping veterans find jobs. She won awards for her hard and caring work.

Nissi gave birth to her daughter Jenevieve Garcia on April 29, 2017. Shortly after the birth Nissi developed medical complications and endured months of treatments, but her life was cut short on December 1 2017 at the age of 29. For 7 months Nissi’s pain increased as things got worse. She was transferred to many facilities looking for the right treatment. Causes are still unresolved.

During Nissi’s stay in the hospital her husband and daughter suffered through Hurricane Harvey. They lost everything cars, furniture, medical equipment, new baby items and clothing. They even had to move from their apartment due to total loss of building’s first floor.

Now we are trying to give Nissi a final resting place and help Jenevieve and daddy Johnny carry on. Please help if you can, even $1 helps. In closing ~~~Nissi is Hebrew which means “The Lord My Banner” Exodus 17:15
