Christmas Sparkle for Starlight Family Children

Help us to make this Christmas a special one for Starlight Family school children and orphans.
In 2014 my husband and I spent time at the Starlight Family Charity in Uganda for Christmas . We contributed to and participated in a modest party for the orphans cared for by Starlight Family and the many children that attended the charity school. With so many of them the budget only really stretched to a meal that was considered 'special' by them but in reality would be an every day occurrence for those of us who live in better conditions. As well as the meal there were some gifts and games which gave the children great joy. Each year since then Lukyamuzi James Starlight Family's director has been fortunate enough to receive financial and material donations to enable him to provide a special day for the children. Needless to say it is a highlight for them in the year. This year James would love to host a party for all of the children in the local villages, who attend the school and are looked after in the orphanage. This means providing a Christmas meal and drink , small Christmas gifts and clothing / shoes for those who need it the most. To achieve this a little over £1000 is required. However if this budget is not met then the party will be hosted only for the orphans and their caretakers with what is available. I am asking you if you can contribute to this as I have experienced first hand the joy that celebrating Christmas gives the children. That joy is their gift to those of us who are lucky enough to be in a position to give.
