This campaign is for a pit mix girl named Nina! Ninas has been at the Inland Valley Humane Society for a while now and she has become extremely depressed, thin, and barely gets out of her bed to greet anyone. It has been a difficult journey getting her out of the shelter but she is set to take her freedom walk!
the breakdown of the cost is:
$100- shelter pull fees
$200- collar, leash, dry and canned food, bed, toys
$200- 10 days boarding
$400- first week of training with an experienced bully breed trainer/boarder
$600- (price drops to $200 each week after the first week in training as a rescue discount) 3 additional weeks training/boarding
$200-possible medical fees
Being in the shelter is extremely stressful because animals come in from all sorts of backgrounds and unfortunately volunteers and staff cannot comfort every single animal all the time. The environment leads to a stressed out animal and can cause them to act unfavorably. This girl has SO much potential and just needs people to believe in her. She will be up for adoption very soon, but in the meantime she will need training, a place to stay, and networking!
Hopefully she will not need to be in boarding and training for so long and will find a foster or forever home a lot sooner! From experience, she will take a little longer to place into a home (because she is a big dog) and we need to anticipate the costs so she's not back to being homeless. ANYTHING helps and EVERYTHING will go to her care. Hopefully she will not needs all of the funds and in that case, the rest of the funds will go to an approved 501c3 non profit organization that could really use the help!
The link below is her network Facebook post that made me fall in love with her and want to fight for her!
