United for Niko’s Recovery

Two of my dearest people are going through the unimaginable.

Their oldest son is in critical condition after having an accident. Ericka, Patrick, and their families are sitting in the hospital watching him defy many odds or grim prognosis. Nonetheless, even through small but miraculous victories the sight of our kid in a hospital bed can slow the hands of time and make it seem as if the storm will never pass. 

In the first seven days, Niko has shown that he is not giving up. Yet, the waiting game is agonizing and torturous for those of us on this side. Specially for Ericka and Patrick. Thankfully they have us.

As the two of them started new jobs recently, any contribution will help. It is likely one of them will need to be available full time for Niko when he returns home. One dollar from every person we know will add up. Once Niko’s out of the hospital, there’ll be outpatient rehab and follow up appointments, medications, lots of things that add up rather quickly.
