With heavy hearts, we share a dear friend, loving husband and devoted father Niko Fragkakis has passed away suddenly of a heart attack on August 10, 2023, while vacationing with his family in Greece. He was a father to two bright, kind, thoughtful boys Costa (4th grade) and Andreas (6th grade). Niko was the other half to his wonderful wife Keshia and together they built a beautiful life and family, with a good dose of humor in the mix. Niko was a member of the Villanova Wildcats Big East Championship team in 1995. He was a proud member of the Villanova family, while there in addition to playing Division I basketball, he earned a degree in Engineering. Niko beamed with joy as he talked about bonding with his teammates and the hard fought battles they had on the Court against the best competition in the nation. Niko always had a big smile and gave high fives to all of his boys’ friends, volunteering to coach basketball and giving pointers court side. Keshia was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis early in their marriage and Niko took on the sole financial responsibility for their household. Keshia is now left to pick up the pieces after this sudden and tragic loss as a single mother and solely responsible for financially supporting herself and her two sons. Keshia, Andreas, and Costas need our help in this difficult time.
