Help Nikki Study in Italy!

Hi, Friends and Family!
As many of you know, I am studying abroad in the Spring semester to further my education and become a world citizen by experiencing a new environment and learning all at the same time. I’m majoring in Communications: Public Relations, and International Studies: Global Relations, which means that I MUST study abroad to graduate from the latter major. It is a decision that has been in my mind for a while now but I really have been itching to travel and see just how other parts of the world connect to one another and learn from those who are different from me.
I have been wavering with the idea of becoming a Social Media Manager once I complete my undergrad experience, but I truly believe I belong in the fashion industry and that through my experience with being a brand ambassador for amazing companies, that it is where my home lies. I feel that Milan, Italy is the perfect place to grow those desires and talents because of the flourishing fashion industry there. I want to make my way into the business by beginning a blog while there and traveling to learn everything I can about what I feel is my future while there!
Working with Moon and Lola, BANGS shoes, and Aerie and working at Pink Magnolia Boutique is just the tip of the iceberg, but I can’t follow my dreams and develop these plans unless I am able to get to Italy. I am hoping to raise $7000 for my time in Italy from January/February – July 2018. I am involved in Sigma Alpha Omega Sorority as the Recruitment Chair, Lambda Pi Eta National Communications Honor Society as the Treasurer, and Queen In You as the Parliamentarian so I am very involved on campus. Lastly, I am the President of Mogul Inc. at NCSU this year on campus. I am getting some money from my financial aid, working as much as possible in this busy semester leading up to it, and saving as much as I can but that won’t cover all my expenses for the trip. I also am saving up a little more in case I have to spend an extra $2000 to direct enroll in the school, Universita Cattolica del Sacro Cuore because there is a chance I won’t be extended an exchange spot at the university.
The money would be going towards my plane tickets to and from North Carolina, the extra for the direct enrollment, travel for my student visa, housing, tuition and books, insurance, food, and personal expenses. I have a lot of plans while there and I would love to discuss them with any of you! As said before, I am starting a blog soon so that way you can keep up with me while I am away. Support is also needed for a trip like this while away from home because money does get you to your destination but your personal relationships help to make the experience even better and intact once returning home.
I appreciate any help you have and would love if you could share this with those who would be interested in my story! I finally am seeing and understanding how all the opportunities that have been occurring in my life are connecting and it is so exciting and beautiful and I hope you can share it with me!
