nikki speed

For the last few years my niece, Nikki Speed, has been living in Ct.  She has been raising her son, going to college for nursing degree and working full time.   She is a wonderful mom and person, I am very proud of her.
Nikki has managed on her own; right now she cannot do this.  She needs all our help no matter the amount.  She would never ask, I will.
Nikki has a mass in her breast.  The first biopsy missed its mark so now they are doing a surgical procedure.  The situation is extremely difficult no matter the outcome of the second biopsy.  Nikki still has to have both her breasts removed as soon as possible; even if the biopsy proves benign.  She has tested positive for the ATM gene which causes breast cancer in woman.  She also tested positive for the BRIPI gene which means she needs another preventative surgery in the future.   Right now a masectomy is a must.
Nikki told me if the present tumor is benign she has to put off the surgery.  She cannot miss work and pay her rent, car and food for Declan. This young woman has overcome so much.  We can make this easier by removing financial fears.  Waiting is not an option.
