Nikki and Zach Hospital Stay

On Thursday, October 11th - a families worst nightmare became a reality - Nikki's water broke at only 23 weeks pregnant. She is currently admitted at Baylor Hospital downtown until the baby is born. 

This campaign has been started as a way to help Nikki and Zach over the next few weeks with expenses that will come with a very lengthy hospital stay. Parking, and many meals to be had at or around the hospital, gas to travel back and forth from Midlothian to Dallas, as well as all other daily expenses.

Any and ALL help is greatly appreciated by Nikki and Zach, as well as their families. Please keep the family in your prayers, as this is going to be a rough few weeks/months.  Also, they have a sweet three year old daughter, Hadley, at home who will need prayers as well, as she does not understand why her mommy cannot come home right now.

As a mom who has been in these shoes - my sweet Harper was born at 31 weeks, and spent 2 months in the NICU - I can speak to the unexpected expenses that come with a situation like the one Nikki and Zach are currently facing. Everything from special formula, to snap front onesies for a preemie, and also all of the expenses incurred while traveling back and forth to see the baby. While insurance will pick up most of the hospital expenses, there are so many things they will not account for once this sweet baby girl makes her grand arrival, so please remember that as you make your donations. :)
