Niki Jones Chemo support

This is my mother.  Sweet , caring, loving, giving  mother. She hasnt smiled like this since Sept 2017. She began having a bad headache one night  and it went downhill from there. She took herself to the ER where they diagnosed her with a migraine and sent her home. She didnt feel well the next day and headache was still around. She was able to get in to see her PCP and they assessed her and Flu tested her, because she was achy and felt like she had the flu, they recommended that she go back to the ER and get another assessment, this time with a neurological consult . They did a CT this time , at the ER, and found a mass. She was immediately careflighted to Presby Dallas where she had a Craniotomy, the next day to remove the abscess that was growing in her skull. She recovered pretty well , with some slight balance issues, but a nagging swallowing problem lingered and then a sudden pain in her stomach , that would send her to the ER again. This time they found gallstones with a sono and surprise lesions on her liver. They would remove the gallbladder the next day and biopsy her liver. The results were not what we had expected. It was cancer!! The cancer was not from her liver so they did a whole body CT and found the mass around her esophagus. The mass would eventually almost close off her throat and she was choking on small amounts of water. The esophagus was biopsied and led to the diagnosis of Stage 4 Esophageal Cancer because it was in her liver and lymph nodes.  She continued to lose weight and they decided to place a stent in her throat to allow for eating better and a better quality of life. She has recieved 1 round of Chemo and is scheduled for her next round soon. She does not have insurance and hasnt worked since September 2017. We are asking for contributions towards her health and healing. We will need assistance in paying for medical visits, medicine/chemo treatments and transportation. We have had great response from family donating their loving time/other to her but we know that there may be days that noone is available or something comes up and we may need to hire someone to assist her when we cant. And of course all the other things , that surround her life,  that will start to get neglected from focusing on her health and healing .
