<div>Al sinds 1958 worden er trekvogels gevangen voor wetenschappelijk onderzoek op vogelringstation Van Lennep in de Kennemerduinen. Dit wordt gedaan door een groep van zo'n 30 vrijwilligers.

<div>Afgelopen januari brak het noodlot toe. Bij een bezoek aan het ringstation door enkele ringers bleek de ringershut met grof geweld opengebroken en alle netten, geluidsboxen e.d. waren gestolen.

<div>Ondanks deze flinke tegenslag zijn de vrijwilligers enthousiast genoeg om het ringonderzoek opnieuw op te pakken. Met dank aan andere vogelringstations en extra donaties van leden zijn nieuwe vangmiddelen gekocht en is het plan om dit najaar het ringonderzoek weer op te pakken. Er is alleen één probleem: de ringershut is defect en de kosten voor een nieuwe ringershut zijn niet te betalen voor de groep vrijwilligers.

<div>Daarom zijn we deze crowdfundactie gestart, in de hoop dat we een nieuwe, stevige hut inclusief kluis kunnen plaatsen op de plek van de oude ringershut. Het ontwerp is reeds gemaakt en de kosten komen neer op zo'n €10.000 euro. Alle beetjes helpen en elke donatie wordt gewaardeerd in de hoop dat we dit belangrijke vrijwilligerswerk weer kunnen oppakken!
