NICU Fight Fund for Baby Miller

We are so happy to announce a new addition to our family, a little baby boy. Born at just 28 weeks, he is in critical but stable condition. He will be under the constant care of the NICU unit for about 3 months until he can join Cari, Brett, and Maya at home. Cari and Brett have been trying for many years and through repeated hardships; no one is happier than they for receiving this blessing. The baby is being monitored closely, with particular attention on his heart and lungs.

Their baby has a long journey ahead. His lungs are barely developed and his heart has two areas of concern requiring repeated echocardiograms. To ensure the baby’s vitals are stable, the NICU staff must repeatedly take blood. Due to this the doctors have already informed the parents that several blood and platelet transfusions will be required.

Without insurance the NICU cost is $2,000 a day and while Cari and Brett are working hard to get him on the best affordable plan, the costs for his treatment will be immense. In addition they will also have the cost's of the emergency C Section and Cari's care while she was in the hospital as well. We ask for your help so that Cari and Brett are not burdened solely with the costs and can focus on the care and well being of this precious little bundle. Every contribution helps.
