Nic Stone's battle against cancer

An amazing human being I like to call my friend Nic Stone started battling cancer back in 2016. Since then there have been a lot of battles, a lot of victories and a lot of set backs. Through the entire time Nic has continued to work to support his family but his treatment requires a lot of time off work, with most of the treatment happening in Chicago. I find myself wondering how he does it. He tells me, never complaining, how he has to fly in at 3 am to Chicago, get treatment all day and then come back to work in a few days. Nic continues to receive aggressive chimo but recently suffered a collapsed lung while the other lung is affected by cancerous tumors. I met Nic through Jiujitsu over 15 years ago, for those of you that know him you can testify to the amazing energy he puts behind everything, including kicking cancer's butt.
