Nicole's Colon Cancer Treatment

I recently had emergency colon surgery to remove a bowel blockage. Upon examination and testing, it turned out to be colon cancer, which had already spread to lymph nodes. At this time I don't know the full extent of my disease, but these funds will go towards my medical expenses during treatment! Any little bit helps! As much as I was hoping for some good news this morning, I did not get it. I have Stage 4 Colon Cancer. It has metastasized to my liver (with more than 6 spots) as well as to my bones (including my pelvis, ribs, and spine). I'm starting chemotherapy today and will have to be monitored closely for response and we will decide further treatment from there. Thank you all for your continued support and prayers! ----------------------------------------------------------------- 6.29.19 update: I reached my 30th birthday. Nobody expected that. My first PET scan lit up like a Christmas tree. They thought I'd be dead in 6 months. But I'm still here. Still standing. NOT DEAD YET. I know it looks like a lot of money has been raised but it's all spent. In the 2 years I've been fighting cancer, I've amassed over $500,000 in medical debt. I am on social security disability now that I can no longer work. This fundraiser is keeping me alive.
