Hello, my name is Sandy and I created this GoFundMe to help my one and only daughter Nicole  as she continues to navigate her Leukemia journey.  As most of you know Nicole was diagnosed in August-2022 with (CLL) Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia- which is considered incurable, and rare for someone under the age of 40. She is under the care of a great oncology team which remain hopeful that this can be treat long term with a focused goal of remission. In September- 2022 due  to the severity of Nicole’s symptoms she began her 24 month cancer treatment plan.   Unfortunately, the infusions leave Nicole immune compromised, which is not ideal for a nurse. So she recently made a career shift and is now   working remote as a nurse educator. Along with this new career also comes new insurance, new healthcare premiums, deductibles, out of pocket expenses.  Even with health insurance the hospital bills, follow-up care, deductibles, medication, and days lost from work on top of being a single mom raising 3 kids, it quickly has created a financial burden. So if you can let’s help ease some of her burden if that is just keeping her and our family in your prayers .
