Nicole Marie Pettit Memorial Fund

During Father's Day weekend 3 years ago, we were awoken by an early morning call that our daughter  Nicole was gone. Nicole had taken her own life.

Nicole was 28 years young and she left behind twin girls Grace and Zoe.

Nicole suffered from depression and it escalated after the birth of her twin daughters. Very shortly after she delivered, she exhibited post partum depression. There were family and medical intervention immediately. The medications prescribed appeared to control the behaviors for a very short period of time.
As time past, Nicole began a downward spiral. Her doctor explained it as bipolar tendencies.  He prescribed her new medications.  Unfortunately, during the last month and a half of her precious life, we knew something was terribly wrong.
We were very involved with Nicole and the twins on a daily basis. Without warning, Nicole took her own life. She leaves behind these beautiful twin girls, a sister that suffers great anguish with her absence, and a father and mother who continue to grieve. Words can never express the sorrow and pain. Nothing fills the emptiness.

Grace and Zoe will never feel Nicole's hugs and kisses again. They will never have their mother  to comfort and encourage them as they grow.

We want to honor our daughter Nicole's memory by raising funds  for education expenses, counseling , or whatever Grace and Zoe will need. We want them to have great expectations for their lives. All funds will be split evenly and put into a trust account for Grace and Zoe.

We do not know what they will experience as they develop and begin to understand the loss of their mother. We want to prepare these girls with a bright and beautiful future.  Will you please consider donating if you are able to? Most impotantly, we ask for prayers for our family.   Prayers can move mountains.

Our entire family extends gratitute and thankfulness for all that donate or spend time in prayer for us.

Please view the photos and share in the happiness we experience when we look at them.  I see my beautiful daughter in these girls.

My daughter's life was a life lost, our memories and love will always remain.
