Nicole Brungardt is chasing her dreams to be on the USA bobsled team.

Nicole and her father traveled to Park City, Utah (June 3rd, 2017) so she could participate in the first round combine. In order to be looked at by the USA committee, you had to score over 500 points. The events included a 15m, 30m, and 45m sprints, standing broad jump and underhand shot toss.  She scored 523 points.

The next step is an invitation only Rookie combine in Lake Placid, New York which she will be attending August 20th-August 27th.

Nicoles athletic background:

Nicole graduated from Norfolk Catholic High School in 2008 and was named Female Athlete of the Year for the state of Nebraska.
