EL SUEÑO DE ESTUDIAR DE NICOLE ARIZA

 

Hola, quiero compartir con ustedes mi sueño de estudiar, soy colombiana tengo 18 años y sé que la educación es la mejor herramienta para el éxito. hace cuatro años y medio me mude con mis padres y mi hermano a Estados Unidos en búsqueda de una mejor calidad de vida; trabaje fuerte en mi tiempo en high school  para graduarme con buenas notas, un GPA de 4.7, he tomado clases “AP”,  clases “AICE” que son auspiciadas por la Universidad de Cambridge en Inglaterra de donde también he recibido un “AICE diploma”, he tomado clases de “Dual enrollment” con la “University of South Florida”, tengo un reconocimiento de “The National Society of High Schools Scholars”. Fuera del área académica También he participado en “Student Government” desde mi Segundo año, En el 2018-2019 fui “Junior class vice president”, también hago parte de “the National Honor society” desde mi tercer año.

 Gracias a estos logros he sido aceptada en cuatro universidades logrando tener becas hasta del 50% que me acercan un poco más a mi sueño; pero aún estoy lejos de alcanzar la suma que necesito ($ 60,000). Por este motivo he empezado esta campaña como un medio que me ayude a reunir el apoyo económico que me permita costear la universidad; quiero estudiar Relaciones Internacionales con énfasis en Diplomacia y un double Major en Historia del Arte; estoy determinada a llegar a mi objetivo, usar todos los medios y tocar todas las puertas para lograrlo.

Toda ayuda es una bendición, paso a paso podre hacer realidad mi gran sueño de iniciar una carrera universitaria.

La universidad que he escogido es Stetson University en DeLand, Florida. El costo anual es de $68,000 y me he ganado una beca de $35,000 anuales. Dejándome con un saldo de $140,000 dólares por los cuatro años de carrera.

También apreciaría si pudieran compartir esta publicación, ya que también me ayudaría a poder alcanzar mi meta.

 NICOLE'S  DREAM OF GOING TO COLLEGE

Hello, I want to share with all of you my dream of going to the university. I’m an 18 years old Colombian girl and I know that education is the best tool for success. Four and a half years ago I moved with my parents and my little brother to United States in the pursue of a better life; I have worked very arduously during my time in High School, Nowadays I graduate with good grades, a weighted GPA of 4.7 out of 5.0, I have taken AP classes, AICE classes which are sponsored by the University of Cambridge in England from which I received an AICE diploma, I have also taken Dual enrollment classes with the University of South Florida. I also have recognition from The National Society of High Schools Scholars. Outside of the academical area I have been part of Student Government since my sophomore year, in the 2018-2019 year I was able to be Junior class vice president, I also make part of the National Honor society since junior year.

Thanks to these accomplishments I have been accepted to four universities, getting scholarships to up to 50% which get me closer to my dream; however, I’m still far from reaching the sum I need ($60,000) for this reason I have started this campaign as a way that helps me gather the economic support that allows me to pay for my university. I want to major in International affairs with a double major in Art History. I’m determined to reach my objective and use all the resources and knock in all the door needed to do it.

All the help is a blessing. Step by step I will be able to make a reality my dream of getting a college education.

The University I have chosen is Stetson University located in DeLand, Florida. The annual cost of attendance is $68,000. I have earned a scholarship for $35,000 annually. Leaving me with a balance of $140,000 for the four years.
