Hi Friends,
On September 29, 2018 I will embark on a mission trip to Moldova with 6 others from my home church Ragland Memorial Baptist. My heart has been desiring an opportunity for God to use me and when this moment presented itself, I said yes a thousand times.
We have partnered with the Face of a Child project through Little Samaritan Mission. Through this project we are able to deliver shoes, hygiene items, clothing, school supplies etc. to children and families who are truly without. Many of the children we will be doing life with for a week are orphans and others live in conditions that would truly break your heart.
The Lord has been drawing me closer to Himself over the past few years and the mission field is where my heart has continued to be led. To Serve, Love, and Share the Gospel is really what this life is all about. To have this opportunity to serve and love these children is exactly where God is calling me by name to join. I don’t know exactly what the plan is, but I know He has given me the ability to love unconditionally, and I still have breath in my lungs to show up and be available for what He is about to do.
So friends, I wanted to share about my trip to Moldova with you for your support. I know I have lots of folks near and far that once something is known, prayers just take flight. I ask for you to pray for our team to be led by the Holy Spirit, for willing and open hearts to love others, and to be available for God to work in and through us on this mission. My portion of expenses will be roughly $2,000 for airfare, accommodations, and food. I am humbly seeking your financial gifts as you feel led.
I value your prayers as we slowly approach our departure date. Please pray for our team and for the children and families we will be with from September 29th-October 8th.
Psalm 68:5 – A father of the fatherless and a judge for the widows, is God in His holy habitation.
James 1:27- Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world.
