Treating Disabled Infants in India

Donation protected
I have the amazing opportunity to change the lives of disabled infants in rural India this summer.   As a pediatric occupational therapist, I will also be training international occupational therapy students every day, all day during treatment sessions. We'll be treating infants and kids with disabilities to develop skills needed to live more independently:  crawling, tumbling, suckling, reaching, looking, talking, etc., all skills critical to their ability to develop in the long-term.      I'll be in the small town of Ayikudi with an international organization: Amar Seva Sangam (https://www.amarseva.org/).  I have been asked to stay for at least all of July and will be right at home in temps around 100 degrees, ha! In order to volunteer I must pay for the costs of travel, immunizations, and food, which breaks down to about $100 per day, or $15 per treatment session.  The children who are disadvantaged in India will benefit in ways we can never imagine for their long term future.  So also will the international students I train and the kids they treat in turn.  Help me make this happen!
