Nico's NICU Journey

Dan and Gloria Nicolette welcomed their son, Nicholas “Nico” Nicolette to the world on May 24, 2019. They instantly fell in love! Baby Nico was born at just 25 weeks, weighing 1lb 14oz after his mommy, Gloria had to have an emergency c section. Thankfully, she is recovering well. Her original due date was September 6th and baby Nico will be staying in NICU at least until that date. He has an incredible medical team looking after him and of course mommy and daddy, too. Baby Nico’s grandparents, uncles, aunts, and friends have all rallied around him as he continues to grow stronger. This little miracle baby has already touched the lives of so many people and has truly been a blessing to us all.

Nico will be staying in the NICU at Tucson Medical Center for the next few months, your generous donations will help Dan and Gloria pay for the unexpected things insurance doesn’t cover including on the go meals for long days in he NICU, a large freezer needed to store Nico’s much needed milk supply  and countless other things to help him grow stronger.  He seems to somehow sense when mommy and daddy are close to him...and every day that passes is another closer to them getting to bring their little sunshine home.
