Nick’s Next Journey

Ten days ago I received the most horrific phone call, my best friend of 18 years was on her way to Upstate Hospital because her Dad had just been in an extremely devastating snowmobiling accident. He has been in the ICU and undergone five surgeries to salvage his leg since that night; That’s one surgery every other day. After multiple strong and persistent attempts to save Mr. Reale’s leg, he received the overwhelmingly catastrophic news that it wasn’t possible. A man that has done so much, an EMT for almost 30 years, a volunteer at the Stittville Fire Department, nearly becoming a corrections officer, and more importantly a loving father, has to overcome this news.

I am calling all friends, family, acquaintances, and strangers to please consider helping Mr. Reale. Through having five surgeries with more to come, and being hospitalized 24/7 in order to heal, you can only imagine what his medical bills are like. Anything will help at a time like this.
