A friend I hold dear to my heart, Nicole Okamura has been battling cancer since 2015. Nicki, a single mother of Lauryn (17) and Mason (3) was initially diagnosed with Female Breast Infiltrating Ductal Carcinoma, underwent a double masectemy in 2016 after intense chemotherapy until April 2016 and radiation therapy until July 2016. I hoped and prayed that she was all clear of this nasty disease when in August 2017 it was back, this time diagnosed as Cancer Metastic to the Lymph Nodes and Bones. Doctors are saying it is inoperable and she is faced with the difficult decisions of whether to undergo chemo again which really takes a toll on her enjoying everyday life. I'm here today to kindly ask everyone to please donate what you can to help Nicki to create lasting memories in what she has left in the precious thing we call "life."
