Nick Martinez

Nick has lived his whole life in Diboll, TX. He is a friend to many. He always supported local Lumberjack teams, especially his niece and nephews.  You would see him at the local games supporting them. However, many friends and even some family didn't know that .... Over the past 3 years, he has privately been battling stage 4 cancer. He has had the support of family but he didn't want to be a burden or be a pity for anyone. He is a strong-willed man that loves his family. He took care of his very ill mother for many years. When I say "took care", I mean that to its core meaning. He was there for her until the very end.  Nick is a very giving and selfless man. He would give his last dollar to anyone in need. Now Nick has fallen very ill and is in ICU still fighting but this battle is much tougher than ever before. He is surrounded by family and he knows we will be there for him until the end.  Unfortunately, the end is approaching much sooner than we would like. He has fought a hard battle and we ask for the support of family and friends. We have created this gofundme page to help the family with medical and other expenses.
