Nick Hudson: The Ultimate Role Model

His Story:
The Cornell Buds would like to share the heroic story of our friend and teammate Nick Hudson. On February 26th, Nick was enjoying a night out with some friends when a dispute broke out between two strangers. In a move that is quite unsurprising given the quality of his character, Nick stepped in to try to peacefully resolve the fight. We are indescribably proud of how Nick responded to this situation, but unfortunately, he was severely injured as a result of stepping in. One of the people involved in the dispute stabbed Nick in the abdomen and fled from the scene. The attack left Nick in critical condition, requiring multiple emergency surgeries to save his liver and kidneys.
Fortunately, the surgeries were largely successful and Nick is expected to make a full recovery. However, this recovery came at a large cost to him and his family. Multiple surgeries, weeks in the hospital, and lodging in the area have piled up large expenses.

In order to assist Nick and his family in covering expenses related to this incident, we are selling hats with a design that shows our support for Nick.
