Nick "Kentucky" Evers loved Sleepy Hollow State Park - and we were fortunate that he shared that love with us.
Watching the sunset on Thursday nights while grilling and drinking Miller Lites after a trail run, running the Legends race followed by his famous bloodys and brunch spread (that baked french toast!), and providing Nick a cross country skiing escape - Sleepy Hollow served as his mid-Michigan outdoor retreat. And we all know how much he loved the outdoors.
In honor of his memory, we're raising funds to construct a memorial bench in his name to be placed at Sleepy Hollow. The cost will be roughly $1,200.
