Nick and UJ Everest Base Camp Trek

Nick and Eugenie (UJ) will be hiking to Mount Everest Base Camp in Nepal starting on 20th September to raise money for Disasters Emergency Comittee (DEC). DEC is currently appealing for support to help their Ukraine and Afghanistan funds. Although the Ukrainian and Afghan humanitarian crises are not making as many headlines as they were at the start of the year, the conflicts are still ongoing, and we need to continue to provide as much support as possible. The charity works to provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection for families in Ukraine and Afghanistan.

Our trek is a 14-day hike from Lukla Airport in the Himalayas to Everest Base Camp at an altitude of 5,364m, where we will be fighting the effects of altitude sickness and sub 0 temperatures on the world's tallest mountain to make it to our destination.
