Nicholas Wilkins fight

Donation protected
Nicholas is a 14 year old boy who has been battling brain cancer for the last ten years. His recurring ependymoma is now inoperable and all radiation and traditional chemotherapy treatments have been exhausted. Nick loves playing and watching hockey. The Wilkins family volunteer in our community by coaching and managing hockey teams, and they find time to help out in all kinds of other ways as well. They are the first people to call when you need a hand and they would gladly give you anything they had if you needed it. We the community have an opportunity to help out our friends in their time of need. Nick’s doctors have found an immunotherapy clinical trial that has taken the family halfway across Canada to Montreal. This unexpected travel has already caused enormous financial hardship for the family and this is only the beginning. All funds raised would be used to cover the costs of travel, accommodations and medical expenses. The treatment will keep Nick in Montreal for the next three months with follow up trips  monthly for treatments after that, and during that time they will be away from the support of their family and friends. Let’s help to alleviate their financial burden so that they have one less thing to worry about. Please lend your support.
