Nicholas K. Pressley Fund

Friends, it's August. Soon I will be having my 66th birthday. Like hundreds of thousands of others around our nation, my heart will not be joyful. In fact, each family milestone and celebration since February 15, 2015 has not really been joyful because that is the day we lost our beloved (son, grandson, nephew, brother and friend), Nicholas K. Pressley (aka Nick).
At every family holiday, we have a very empty chair, where our beloved Nick should be sitting.
So, this August, we are launching the NICHOLAS K. PRESSLEY FUND, to provide education, advocacy, services and community building related to heroin and opioid addiction. We don't have our 501-c-3, YET, but we will soon.
Please help us start today...remembering August 13 (my birthday) and August 31 (International Overdose Day)or as soon as you are able to...please consider making a gift to the Nicholas K. Pressley Fund. Our initial goal is $10,000, and we hope to increase that significantly over the next year.
It's true, the healthcare bill with $45B for treatment and assistance for the Opioid Crisis has not yet passed. In the meantime, all of us who are caught in the middle of this epidemic know that even $45B will not come soon enough to save lives.
Please consider an August gift to the Nicholas K. Pressley Fund--help us get started. This is the greatest gift our family can receive right now and for the foreseeable future. We know we can count on you, and we thank you from our hearts for your care, your kindness, and your support.
Nicholas K. Pressley, December 30, 1983-February 15, 2015. Rest in Glory and Peace.
