Nicaragua Mission Trip 2017

Donation protected
Hello Friends and Family,

This year, in the last week of March, a group of students from Costa Rica International Academy will be accompaning Tamarindo Church in a week-long Mission Trip to Managua, Nicaragua. This community is in desperate need of aid, as it is one of the poorest countries in the western hemisphere, second to Haiti. Students will be helping build houses, donating food bags, and providing clothes for the people in this town. Most importantly, our goal is to connect with these people and provide them with the care and help they need.

Building Homes

Our goal is to build at least four homes during our week long visit. Each home costs around $700 to build and will provide families with shelter that they desperately need. Before these homes, families will have lived on the street and have never had a roof over their heads.

Feeding Centers

We will also feed children each day at a feeding center. For most children, this will be their only meal all day. Our goal is to buy at least $400 worth of food for this center. This will provide a lunch for 200 children for a month. Food may be a basic need for us, but for them, it is a luxury.

All of the money donated will go towards the people in need.

Thank you for making this trip possible,

Costa Rica International Academy students and Tamarindo Church members.
