Medical Bills for our Father

Thank you for taking the time to read this. My name is Marisela Quintero. On Wednesday, April 4th, my dad was plucking some avocados from my aunts avocado tree with a ladder. Suddenly, the ladder fell from underneath him, causing him to fall from approximately 12 feet high. Help was called immediately, and he was taken to Saint Francis Medical Center in the city of Lynwood via ambulance, where he remains to this moment. He suffered a broken neck and fractured spine, which will require surgery on Wednesday April 11. He is conscious, aware of his surroundings, and in good spirit despite his injury. He has movements throughout his body, but is unable to eat. The hospital staff is currently feeding him thru a tube and they’re doing a remarkable job. My family is going thru a lot but we’re coming together and being strong. We appreciate your support and ask that you keep us in your thoughts. As you can see, we’ve setup this go fund me account to raise some money for the recovery my dad faces. Please don’t feel obligated to give just because you read this.
