A GIFT RETREAT FOR NHS & ESSENTIAL WORKERS

During the Spring of 2020 when the pandemic first came to the UK, we created the concept of a gift retreat so that we could give something back to NHS and Essential Workers who were working so hard looking after us all. The Reclaim Your Self retreat team joined forces with Suzy Castleman, the visionary owner of Tofte Manor to create a free 2 night luxury retreat for our guests to relax at peaceful private manor and enjoy a restorative retreat programme created with love and gratitude by some of the best wellness professionals around.

Our fundraising target was exceeded!
Over the summer we launched our GoFundMe page to raise money for the retreat. Our brilliant team donated their time and the owner of Tofte Manor kindly offered us the manor at a super low rate, so we just needed funds to cover the core costs of the retreat (food, wine, accommodation and a travel allowance for the team). We exceed our target THANK YOU! and planned our first retreat for September 2020. 

Our special guests
We received over 150 nominations for 18 retreat places. From doctors, nurses, cleaners and carers to paramedics, care home staff and social workers, so many special people were nominated for going above and beyond during a difficult time. We selected 18 people for our first free retreat and it took place on 30th September to 2nd October.  It was absolutely brilliant. Read all about it here.

As we head into winter, we know life is going to be tough again for those working in the NHS and Essential Services.
