New England Disabled Sports

Hi,
My name is Kayla Tozier and I am raising money for the New England Disabled Sports program. This is an amazing program in New England that helps disabled children and adults experience outdoor recreation such as skiing, snowboarding, swimming, and several more! Yesterday, my family and I went and skied at Loon Mountain. For the whole week, my autistic, 8-year-old brother had been talking and talking about how excited he was to go skiing with us. For the whole day, Devon got to ski with this program. At the end of the day, my dad and I went to get Devon from his lesson, and for the next twenty minutes he told me all about how much fun he had skiing all of the green trails. He showed me every ski lift and ski trail that he went on and was so proud of himself. Seeing that made me so happy. But it's not just about him, when I went into that building to see Devon, I was surrounded by smiling kids. A very young boy was standing on a snowboard, with his arm braces on, and he was the happiest kid on Earth. While I was skiing down the mountain, I saw an adult woman who was paralyzed, skiing down on wheelblades, skis for people in wheelchairs, all by herself, and it was incredible. I really do appreciate how much time and effort the coaches and volunteers put into making these children and adults lives better. With the help from generous donations, they can change lives affected by disabilities. Without the staff and volunteers, this wouldn't be possible. From this fundraiser, I would love to raise $5,000 towards this program. This money can help them do so much more, such as buying technologically advanced adaptive equipment. They have a fundraiser deadline of March 14th, and I am trying to do as much as I can to raise my goal. Thank you so much to those who contribute and help them continue their mission.
