This is Tad, my husband, he has always been very healthy, lovely, sweet, cheerful, full of life, hard worker, the best daddy of a 3 year old girl, and the most positive person I've ever met.
Back in September, he started with some pain in what we thought it was the sciatic as well as some hemroids, went to see the doctor and prescribed some medication... after a couple of weeks, of the pain getting worse and worse, took him back to the dr. and he had dropped 12 lbs., doctor didn't like it and ordered a CT Scan...turned out Tad had Stage IV rectal cancer. It had spreaded to his liver, lymph nodes and pelvis. At the beginning, he tried to keep up with his life and work, which was almost impossible as he started radiation and chemo (taking a pill) and the pain got worse and worse... after 2 weeks of radiation/chemo, another CT showed tumors in liver had doubled their size so had to start very aggressive combined chemotherapy.
Tad is the sole provider of this family and as he has been without work since October 31, 2014 and we are not receiving any sort of income, medical bills are starting to pile up in the desk.
Treatment is going well, tumors are shrinking but the battle is not over...
To all those who in one way or another have approached us on how to help Tad this is the time.
That is why we urge you to help a great human being very eager to live. A good man who has been a good daddy, good husband, good son and an unconditional friend.
God has provided for us thus far, and we trust him to continue to do so. We are abundantly blessed to have so much love forTad. Thank you for your support and prayers!

Este es Tad, mi esposo, siempre ha sido un hombre muy saludable, amoroso, dulce, lleno de vida, trabajador y mejor papa para nuestra hija de 3 anos, y la persona mas positiva que he conocido.
En Septiembre del 2014, empezo con un dolor que creimos era el nervio sciatico, al mismo tiempo que con hemorroides...despues de 2 semanas que no se le quito con remedios caseros fue al doctor, mismo que le receto medicamentos... el dolor empeoro, despues de 2 semanas regresamos al doctor y habia bajado 12 libras, cosa que al doctor ya no le gusto... mando a hacerle un CT Scan... el resultado... Cancer etapa 4 en el recto el cual ya se le habia esparcido al higado (5 tumores) y a los gangleos y pelvis.
Al principio, intento seguir con su vida y con su trabajo; cosa que fue impossible por la radiacion y quimioterapia tomada, y el dolor seguia empeorando.. despues de 2 semanas otro Ct Scan mostro que los tumores del higado estaban creciendo increiblemente y estaban al doble de su tamano inicial; momento en el que el doctor decidio cambiar tratamiento y empezamos una quimioterapia combinada muy agresiva.
Tad es el unico que contribuye economicamente en esta familia y ha estado sin trabajar desde el 31 de Octubre del 2014, no estamos recibiendo ayuda de ningun otro lado... sin embargo, los recibos medicos y las cuentas enormes de hospitales siguen llegando.
El tratamiento esta funcionando, los tumores se estan encogiendo pero la batalla aun no termina...
Para todos los que de una manera u otra han preguntado como ayudar a Tad, creo que este es el momento.
Por eso es que iniciamos esta campania y les pedimos ayudar a un hombre que esta ansioso de seguir viviendo, un hombre bueno que ha sido un excelente padre para mi bebe, excelente esposo, excelente hijo y un amigo incondicional.
Diosito nos esta escuchando, y confiamos en que asi seguira. Somos muy afortunados de contar con tanta gente que nos quiere y en especial a Tad.
