Help Zoe Alexis

My beautiful daughter, Zoe Alexis (3 yrs old), is an extraordinary, brilliant and strong little girl. Recently, it was discovered she had a mass in her brain and was flown, next day, on an emergency airplane from El Paso, Texas to Dallas Children's Hospital since El Paso does not have a pediatric neurosurgeon. She had emergency brain surgery to remove the tumor mass two days later.  The doctors diagnosed Zoe with a rare & malignant tumor called Anaplastic Ependymoma in her brain. I work as special education aide/teacher in El Paso and had to leave my job temporary to attend to my daughter’s required medical treatments in Dallas.  Zoe will require radiation, physical & occupational treatments and other medical examinations.  It is estimated that these treatments & therapy will take a month and a half if everything goes well. Zoe is loving, compassionate and most of all full of life despite her condition.  No matter her current state her smile, laughter, playfulness and drive to learn and do anything doesn’t stop Through her strength, God’s grace, her brothers, family & friends support  I find hope for the best outcome for my daughter.  I am humble to ask for your help for my Zoe during her stay in Dallas for treatment and any future necessities to help her get better.
