Maddy & Paige's Volunteer Trip

Maddy and Paige are both juniors at Flagler College majoring in Deaf Education. This summer, they are visiting San Miguel de Allende where they will spend a month volunteering with the Escuela de Educación Especial de San Miguel de Allende, A.C., or the San Miguel School for Special Education. This school helps to educate Deaf children in Mexico in an environment that fosters the growth of both Spanish and Mexican Sign Language. These students would otherwise attend public schools where they would not receive any type of special accomodations to gain access to the information. 

Maddy and Paige are eagerly looking forward to their visit, but they are seeking donations to help cover a portion of their travel funds as well as to help purchase materials needed for the school. The school is in need of a lot of supplies so every donation counts!
