My Amazing Niece Faith Needs New Wheels!!
My name is Todd and I have an amazing 16-year-old niece named Faith who is need of some new wheels. In other words, she needs to replace her old accessible van with a better one. Her parents bought her old van in 2011. Since that time, the van has racked up over 107,000 miles, the AC no longer works, and worst of all, the ramp that is used to get Faith in the van has not worked for the past couple of years. The fact that the ramp doesn’t work means Faith’s mom cannot load and unload Faith by herself. This limits Faith’s independence, as her caretakers cannot load or unload her, either.
Faith’s parents are hoping to get a newer van (but not brand new). They are currently looking at a 2015 Dodge Grand Caravan with only 7,031 miles. The cost is about $29,000. Faith loves to get out and about and some new wheels would mean she could get out more often.
Faith’s 17th birthday is coming up in October. What a blessing it be to give her a van for her birthday!

Faith was born on October 25, 2003 to Robert and Cari Bousfield in Rochester, MN. Her mom Cari went into premature labor at 26 weeks gestation. Due to her congenital heart defect, Cari was airlifted to the Mayo Clinic. Faith was born 3 weeks later, weighing only 2.6 pounds. When Faith was six months old, she was diagnosed with spastic quadriplegia, which is the most severe form of cerebral palsy. Despite her physical challenges, Faith brings love and joy wherever she goes.
