The world lost a great soul on May 29th. Newton Elberson was a man with an enormous heart who lived every moment to the fullest. He was a husband, a father, a grandfather, an artist, an Olympic trampolinist, a pilot, and forever the life of the party. His life was one adventure after another. Unfortunately, his last adventures were done with a terrible disease.
Newton battled with cancer these past couple years and he fought the same way he lived, with 110%. He survived 2 rounds of chemotherapy, 3 rounds of radiation, and a round of immunotherapy. He had a peg tube installed for feeding, a mediport for chemical injections, a tracheal tube to breath, and finally an oxygen support system. Not only were these procedures extremely taxing on Newton, but they were rather expensive. We have been extremely grateful for all of the support for Newton and have established this page to channel all of your generosity. All donations will go towards helping Cindy pay for the medical expenses. All donations over $100 will receive a commemorative T-shirt featuring a Newton Elberson original design.
