Hi, My name is Babs Porter and i am running the Newport Marathon on the 13th April 2025 to help support Velindre for their amazing care to cancer patients.

I work for GLL and within our centre's in Cardiff so many of our colleagues raise awareness for charities and now it is my turn.

Within my Centre we have someone's Father who has been under Velindre's care for 5 year with terminal stage 4 lung cancer and without their Support, Medical team, Amazing doctors and cancer treatments he would not be here with us today.

Velindre helps so many patients within Wales and they do their upmost best to support people living with cancer and their families and I want to give back to them.

I would hugely appreciate anyone who sponsors me raising awareness for such a great cause.
