<div><strong>So, unfortunately, just days after getting married to my beautiful wife, Nikki, she was seriously injured in a motorcycle crash. Over the course of a few beautiful days after our wedding (Sept 18th 2025) @ Orca Rock East Sooke Park) We were starting to enjoy settling into our new life together as a married couple. We found ourselves going on lil mini dates, laughing, holding hands and just simply loving one another. We were basically honeymooning getting more and more excited every day to leave for our official honeymoon to Cancun on Oct 28th. Things went from beautiful to horrifically tragic in the blink of an eye.</strong>

<div><strong>Well, what wife could ever imagine getting into a bike wreck as a newlywed in her dress? Finding herself tangled up in her wedding dress and Harley with broken bones, bleeding and losing consciousness. While screaming at her new husband to get her out of her mangled mess. All while terrified and in excruciating pain.</strong>

<div><strong>Event from my eyes: At the beginning, ok, this is going good, she's looking so so fine. Ah, yes, yes, I like this. She's on my bike, she's with me, she is safe. Oh no, wait, now she's on her bike, and I feel unsettled, anxious and unsure, but let's just trust the rider (wife) as she's a great rider. Ok ok the trust parts not working BUT it's what she wants we're almost done there must be lots of good photos for her for us, Alright one last pass by the cameraman (our son)</strong>

<div><strong>Ok great, we got this one in the books, let's just give her one more and we can wrap this...... Crash, bang, boom. Wait, what? What the f@#&lt; no no no no this can't be happening no no no omg, yupyupp f@#&lt; she just crashed right in front of my eyes. At this point, I'm still going about 15-20km\h mid-flight, turn off the bike, and lay it down. I'm now running faster than ever, my legs burning from moving so fast, feet pounding on the pavement, f@#&lt; don't fall, don't fall. I must get to her, try to shield her, keep her safe, and stop my beautiful wife from any more damage or harm. Omg what just happened? Wife screaming in agony from the event unfolding into both of our lives, holy S#:% wtf... The Wife is now screaming at me to free her from her dress that was ever so tightly constricting her lower abdomen as the dress itself was all wrapped up in the rear tire. Ok, knife, where's a knife, patting myself, searching like somehow one has magically appeared on my body. Ok, yup, no knife... Now what? Ok, ok, what do I do? As I stood there analyzing the situation, I noted our son running down the road f@#&lt; I think, oh no, this is real, ok, ok, now what? Think, brain, think ok, ok, stop him, get his sweater to cover mom up, as she was half de-robed by this point. As I pointed and yelled at our boy to turn around, run back to the truck, and bring it down the road closer to us. At this point, not sure why I told him this, but that single second gave me a few short minutes to free his mom to free my wife from this tangled, bloody mess. Ok, so now what? How do I do this, no knife, no nothing, just her, her bike, and me alone on the side of the road? Ok, think brain, think, come on, brain think.... Ok, ok, got it, reach under the bike, pull the clutch in to free the back tire from its gear. Ok, ok, now what... ugh, ok, ok, fine, I'll try, I'll try with one hand, squeezing the clutch under the bike against the road. I begin to reach for the back tire. Ok, ok, this just might work. As my hand reached the rear tire, I then realized I was finally onto something. With all the strength from my entire body, I pushed, I pulled, I pushed, I pulled omg, wait, it's working. The rear tire of her bike was spinning, releasing her dress from our grip. Omg yes yes yes almost push pull push pull then finally ok ok must be good enough. I stood up and just pulled with all of my force, and poof, I was free from the bike, but not the dress. Ok, ok, f@#&lt; it, let's just rip this thing off of her. Ahhh, yes, ok, yes, I did it, I did, yayyy. Ya, ok, great, she's free of the tangled mess now. Babe? Babe? Ohh nooooo, babe? Oh my f@#&lt;ING gawd she not responding not no colour in her face lips are blue noooooooo nooo noo noo noo babe babe babe please babe please wake up come back to me. Bam, her eyes open, fluttering as she continued to fade in and out omg, this isn't happening right now, no, no, no, no. Oh, wait, wait, yes, yes, yes, yes, ah, yes, babe, babe, ok, good, you're back, stay with me, I love you. Oh, thank you, God, thank youuuu.... By this point, multiple people had stopped and were in sight with me, and 911 was on the line. I idk let's just say a few phones. We covered her up and I just held her, begging her to be ok, to stay with me, all while insisting everything is going to be ok, that she's gonna be just fine. Ok, ok, wait, where are the ambulances? What's taking so long? Come on, just hurry up, don't you understand who needs your help right now? My new beautiful bride is the's who needs your help, so please just hurry the heck up. Finally, yes, the professionals are here. Breathe, Nick, breathe. Things are gonna be ok... I'll just keep praying, please God watch over my wife, watch over my family, but most importantly, give my wife the strength to fight for her life.</strong>
