Breast Cancer Awareness

As this month’s worldwide Breast Cancer Awareness Month activities get underway, NewDay USA wants to show its support, and recognize the magnitude of a disease that will be diagnosed in one in eight women at some point during their lives.

The importance of raising awareness of breast cancer risks, as well as the value of screening and early detection, cannot be underestimated. There are about 3.1 million Americans currently living with this disease, and thanks to early detection and better treatments, survival rates have improved in recent years.  But there is still a lot of work to be done.

Nearly all of us have been touched by this disease. Mothers, grandmothers, wives, friends and even some men in our lives have faced this disease.

Supporting survivors, honoring loved ones lost, and helping in the fight against breast cancer is what our campaign is all about.   Please consider making a difference by contributing to our Pink Thursdays in October campaign.
