New York Marathon for Kevin Peat

On the 5th March 2017, my life changed forever. I was given a life sentence of mourning and heartbreak as my brother Kevin Peat was taken from me and all the family so suddenly. Kev's life was cruelly taken from him in his prime and that is something we will never understand and will forever ask the question why it had to be him.
Talking about Kevin is still so raw to me so i have to keep this text brief.
On the 5th of November, which will be exactly 8 months since we lost Kev, I will be running the New York marathon. Over 26 miles all over manhattan. The aim of the marathon is to raise as much money as possible to contribute to his children’s trust fund for when they get older. Conor and Liam, who we are so grateful that Kev and Meg have given us, may need a little extra help when they get older and the aim of this fund and future funds is to provide that help.
I managed to get a place in the marathon after it had closed and im covering all expenses myself, all what is donated will go directly to the kid’s trust that we set up.
The main aim of the trust fund is to provide the kids with a financial background and also something to remember their Dad by as well all the memories we will share of Kev with them.
I will be running with over 50,000 other runners each with their own story or reason, Kevin will be on the forefront of my mind from start to finish just as he is every single second of my life.
