New Years Baby 2022

Hey Everyone,

My name is Sonya and I'm raising funds to assist some good friends that just had the first new years baby of 2022!

Billy and Jo had their baby girl on January 1, 2022 at the East Kootenay Regional Hospital - Cranbrook, BC. The beautiful baby was born at a healthy weight of 5 pounds 6 ounces but Jo was not due until February and the baby was born premature. Cranbrook does not have a NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) so Jo and the baby have been flown to Vernon BC where the baby will likely have to be monitored and kept in an incubator. Billy will be staying home until him and their other daughter, Vaeh are able to travel. On top of baby arriving early, the whole family was recovering from Covid-19.

Funds raised will be used for anything Jo and the baby need while in Vernon. As well as, travel costs for when they are able to bring the baby home, hopefully in a few weeks.
