Stop Sainsbury’s New Cross Gate Development

We all want to see new homes built in South East London, but we don't want a development that maximizes the developer's profit at the expense of infrastructure, transport, social housing and vital services. This is why we, residents who live near New Cross Gate station, are coming together to fight back against development plans submitted by Sainsbury’s, which include a 33-story tower and could jeopardize the planned extension of the Bakerloo line.

If you share our concerns and want to see the needs of residents, current and future, taken into account in development plans, please join us. If you want the site to be developed with good transport links, in line with the council's wider development plans, and to include substantial social housing, health facilities, community services and open spaces, then please make a contribution. Funds will be used to pay for expert advice from planners, transport consultants and structural engineers.

Sainsbury’s can afford to spend millions promoting a plan that will maximize its profits. We aim to raise £5000 to spend on fighting for a plan that will make New Cross Gate a better place to live for all  present and future residents.
