Hello everyone! 




Our organization, The Refugee Health Alliance (RHA) was organized in 2018 in response to increasing medical needs at the US-Mexico Border. We provide free medical services to unhoused migrants at the southern border in Tijuana. Many have open asylum cases and are patiently waiting to hear updates while they reside in encampments. This population includes a large number of families and children, which is why we’re creating this fundraiser to quickly address an issue we’re dealing with at the moment:






On Saturdays we take our clinic straight into the encampments, setting up triage stations, physician stations, and a pharmacy for on-site prescriptions. For this to take place, we transport about 500lbs of medications and equipment in our van from the clinic to the encampments. However, our van finally gave out. Right now we’re looking to purchase a new one and figuring out the budget, but as a clinic coordinator I’d like to fundraise as much as I can to push for a more reliable purchase so we can safely continue our operations without pause.






Any donations will go straight to RHA. Aside from helping out with the van purchase, all donations will directly contribute to our clinical operations which include our free weekday clinics, our Saturday mobile clinic, and our new Waterworks project that will supply  hygiene stations (showers, soap, clothes!) and laundry to our unhoused patient population. We’re very excited to launch this new facility and any donation would help with that as well. Thank you!
