New Twist on Missions Trip

A new twist on a missions’s trip…One of my new found passions after spending 3 years on the mission field is to prioritize and empower the care and support of those who are serving abroad.  Having experienced this first hand, I know what the needs of a person on the ground are.  I know the significance and the deep , healing relief a few days of rest with loved ones can bring.  The few times I experienced this myself, it was a needed lifeline and brought profound rest and encouragement that I needed to continue with the work I was doing. 

I have the opportunity in May, with the blessing of the Global Missions Team at Blackhawk, to go do just this for a dear friend serving on the field in Kenya.  I am grateful and excited to be able to go love on her and bring some rest and encouragement.


I am asking for 44 people to give $50 to help cover the cost of my time with her.  Your gift will cover the cost of the flight and the needed funds to treat her to a few days of rest.  Speaking from someone who has been there, the return on investment of this $50 is priceless and life-giving.  I hope that you will consider joining me in loving and serving my friend.
