New roof for RC Church in la Cala de Mijas

The RC Church in la Cala de Mijas needs a new roof and also the inside of the Church roof needs to be repainted to cover water stains. Cost of the roof is about €6,500 and we can assume painting will be at least another €1,500. As so many people enjoy la Cala and the Church is an important facility in the village it would be appreciated if visitors and residents could make a contribution to the costs so that it is not just a burden on those attending Church services. If at least 300 people donated €20 each most of the costs would be defrayed. I think this would be a generous gift to the village and community we all enjoy whether you are a Church goer or not.
