Sooo glad I've got this guy with me! This is Georgio, named after another much-loved cat.
I sensed big trouble for this guy, and now he's safe here, recovering from what Dr. Anne Reed says may be simply really bad nutrition! He can't stand or walk without falling. When he got here, he was an emotional wreck: freaking out at any noise or movement. Growling all the time, and he didn't stop shaking for two days. It was hard to comfort him, but flower essences and pheremones helped. Thanks Jackson Galaxy!
I never get used to what peoiple do to these animals.
I took him to beloved Dr. Han first. He was stumped. No vomiting or diarrhea (his former people said he'd had a lot of diarrhea) but his liver values were high. He is at this point completely incontinent. I had suspected poisoning of some sort. Dr. Reed said maybe. But after more thought, she said that his symptoms could all come from severe malutrition.
I've been feeding him lots of supplements...for detoxing and organ strength, probiotics and enteric support...etc. He eats well!!! Kind of a wait and see.
I hope his damage isn't permanent. He has youth on his side: just six months old. He's a dear!!! Teresa Wagner talked with him, and I'll tell about their conversation next time! It was amazing!
The good news is that his tremors have stopped, mostly. He now lets me pick him up with only a tiny growl, and has begun to vocalize!
Bless his heart! He needs a lot more, and I hope you will send him some love, financial and otherwise, and prayers! Please share his campaign: he is worthy!!!
