Hello everyone. Many of you that in August I lost my right leg. I never lost my spirit to fight.I’ve been in re Han for 6 months now 3 times a week. Although I have made great strides in my recovery and learning how to walk again , thanks to my therapist and my will. I cannot progress any further with the training leg unfortunately.
The permanent leg a C leg Ottobock costs $ 45,000 and my insurance only covers 80% witch leaves me a cost of $ 11000
In 2018 my insurance premium rose 20% while the coverage went down, I was paying $10 co pay for PT and is now $ 50 a visit. 2 to 3 times a week it adds up fast.
The new leg will give me much of my independence back and allow me to lead a somewhat normal life. I have $ 6000 towards the leg but could use some help, it pains me to ask because I know many people are struggling any contribution would be be greatly appreciated and help.
